In the Education department, we have M.Ed., B.Ed., B.Sc.-B.Ed. & D.El.Ed.
You need to score 55% in B.Ed. for the General category and 50% for Reserved Category.
After completing M.Ed., you can apply for the post of School Teacher, Education Counsellor, Online Tutor, and you can also apply as a lecturer in teacher’s training college after qualifying NET and M.A. (with 55%).
Career & Job opportunities after completing B.Ed.: - After earning B.Ed. degree, you will be eligible to get a job in secondary and higher secondary schools. After B.Ed. you can work in the School, Education Department, Coaching Centres, Education consultancies, home, and private tuitions, etc.

The average salary of a Teacher in the Private sector is around Rs.2.5 lacs per annum. Salaries will be increased with good experience and degree in the education field. In government schools a TGT can earn a salary of more than Rs.3 lacs per annum and a PGT can get a Salary of Rs. 4.5 lacs per annum.
